Aaaaaaaaand, 5_for_five is starting over again for the autumn season. What a wonderful way to get inspiration to write and also to keep track of word amounts! *iz totally in*

Last night, I did manage just over 600 words, and a bit more earlier in the week, and the one-shot with a million prompts is nicely progressing. It's SS/HG for a change, and it only has mentions of Narcissa. *le gasp* I know.

There'll be a lot of beta-reading this week, as the Hermione Big Bang final deadline is looming. And there'll be some editing, since my entry is missing something vital, but I think I can sort it out. Anyway, I'll be happy to return to music and mushrooms for a bit before diving back into my WIPs.

The six-course French meal you created tonight in honour of your birthday was the most awesome meal I've had in a long, long time, and I'm blessed to have many awesome meals all the time. Everything was absolutely right and perfect. I didn't know my love for you could grow to another level, but it did when you mentioned so casually that you cooked it all for me and invited friends simply because you know that I don't enjoy food as much on my own as I do with friends around.

And, let me just say, reminiscing with so much laughter was the perfect ending for a perfect day.

Dear Downstairs Neighbour,

I have no idea what makes you think introducing yourself as "Hi, I'm your downstairs neighbour," after knocking extraordinarily loudly on my door will give me a good impression of you (not that I assume you care about that), but let's just say that complaining about "kids' noise" before 9pm on a Saturday is a Really. Bad. Idea. I may well complain to you in the future about the eyesore that your towels over the bushes are after you go swimming. Oh, and never mind the obscenely pink airbed you obviously use for the swimming pool that tends to stay in your backyard for weeks on end. Your skin colour of Majority in this part of the world does not make you superior to me, and your language certainly shows a distinct lack of both education and culture. Oh, and might I suggest a change in wardrobe? Slutwear is not becoming when you're, as you claimed, married, and frankly, your figure could do with something... less revealing. Glad that's sorted. Goodbye.

You were clever to claim sickness of your wife when you came here for dinner once before. I very nearly liked you. As far as locals are concerned, you're positively intelligent, and you can express yourself eloquently. Unfortunately, with the arrival of your wife tonight, I see the reason why you insisted she was ill last time we invited you. I also realised tonight, with your behaviour, that you have considerable freeloading capacity. I rejoiced when you "had to leave" and forgive you for not saying goodbye to me. Good riddance.

I love you. You covered the antisocialness of weird couple, you told antics that made us all (well, most of us) laugh, and you appreciated the food.
